SES Victoria is giving Victorians the opportunity to obtain a free pair of gloves.
According to the site:
Victoria has been badly hit by storms before, with the last big storms costing the State a whopping $1.215 billion. Being prepared before a storm hits is the best way to avoid damage and costs to you and your home.
As part of StormSafe Week 2013, we’re giving you a FREE pair of work gloves to clear gutters, remove hazardous tree limbs and to tie down outdoor furniture and other things that can be caught in high winds.
When you’ve prepared your property, you could check if a neighbour might need a hand too!
