Free Lemon Tree, Melbourne City Square 2 June 2013 Only
The Lemon Tree Project is giving Melbourne residents the opportunity to obtain a free lemon tree.
According to the site:
The wonderful people at Alcoa Foundation have kindly provided us with 500 lemon trees to give away to awesome people like yourselves who pledge to plant them in a communal space. So chat with your neighbours, have a think about an appropriate communal space and come down to City Square to collect your neighbourhood tree.
To get your free lemon tree visit Melbourne City Square on Swanston Street on 2 June 2013 between 9am and 3pm (I’d recommend getting in early.)
